As Sales Manager, you remit will be to win contracts with large corporates. Selling into the Automotive, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and manufacturing arenas, your points of contact will be M. Ds, Procurement teams and Senior Buyers at head Office level. The role of Sales Manager will also see you developing and mentoring a team of 4 along the South Coast. As well as people management, the role of Sales Manager is also focused on new business development, however, you will also manage a base of highly receptive accounts. This is a high-level role negotiating tenders and contracts at head office level as well as developing a sales team.

THE PERSON: To be considered for the role of Sales Manager you must be able to demonstrate at interview that you have sold capital kit. You could have, for example, sold cleaning equipment, caterning equipment, Plant, or Industrial Capital Kit. Our client will also consider candidates who are used to getting equipment out on hire/lease contracts. Your competitive nature and positive attitude coupled with your attention to detail will also make you a strong candidate for our client. In order to be considered for the role of Sales Manager you must show a passion for people management, if you have managed a team previously then this would be great but it is not a pre-requisite.

THE PACKAGE FOR SALES MANAGER:

  • Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
  • Bonus: £20,000 uncapped
