Technical Business Development Executive

The Role: We are working with a business who span the UK & Ireland, are growing across Europe, and have an ever expanding fleet of Cold Storage Solutions which they hire (70%) or sell (30%) to end user clients within the world of food & bev, warehousing & logistics, and retail. They also have a strong presence within the pharmaceutical world too! These solutions are hired on a one to five year rental contract in the main, or for those permanent solutions are sold as cap-ex. In addition, you will be selling service contract solutions for those rental agreements. The Technical Business Development Executive role is a growth position and one which requires a hungry, driven, and motivated new business sales professional to build a client base from scratch and then manage that to get the most out of it month on month.

The Technical Business Development Executive covers the North of England (above Birmingham) and is very well serviced with their main depot based out of Ellesmere Port. The Technical Business Development Manager will be supported by an Internal Sales Team who are providing qualified leads from either web enquiries or through their new business activity. You will also have Engineering Teams for those majorly technical applications and the position will report into the Business Development Director.

They have offices across Ireland and the UK, depots to support their sales activity, and a raft of technical support.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • New business field sales track-record within the plant hire, accommodation, power generation, cold storage or similar industries
  • Have an appetite to win and retain business from a standing start
  • Willing to learn a design led solution
  • Full & Clean Driving licence
  • Happy to cover the entire North of England
  • Are able to work as part of a wider team to ensure success

Salary: Between £35k-40k basic salary DOE - £15k Uncapped Bonus + company car or car allowance options, negotiable holiday entitlement, auto-enrol pension + other negotiable benefits
