This client support companies within the Offshore Gas industry, Oil Refineries and more with a safe alternative to welding - pipe connectors that reduce risk of fire, are fitted more safely and reduce overheads.
Established over two decades ago, they're the number 1 supplier in their market and are now expanding even further by adding ambitious graduates to the sales team in Aberdeen.
What does the role involve?
As a Graduate Technical Sales Engineer, you'll spend a lot of time initially learning the product & shadowing existing sales people to boost your sales skills.
Once you're up to speed and ready to go, you'll start to manage an existing group of accounts, extending relationships with different clients, going out on-site to typically 10-12 face-to-face meetings each week.
Speaking to Site Managers, Mechanical Engineers, Construction Managers and more, the patch you will cover will run across the North East of Scotland (a candidate based in Aberdeen would be the ideal location). A company car with all expenses paid alongside will be provided.
What are the company looking for?
This is an entry level role, there is no particular work experience required - having an engineering type degree or background is essential. It would be helpful, but not essential, for candidates to have some previous work in a customer facing role such as hospitality or retail.
Personality is the number one factor here - sales is about building relationships with people! The right individual for this role will be warm, confident & enjoy the prospect of heading out to meetings and building relationships with new individuals each week.
