Our client are a market leader within the beverages industry, owning a number of well known brands that are supplied into on-trade (bars, restaurants, clubs) and off trade (shops, supermarkets) across the country.

As they continue their expansion across the UK, they're now working with BMS Performance to add entry level talent into multiple sales teams.

What does the role look like?

Working as a Sales Development Executive, you will be selling into the on-trade market (licensed bars, restaurants, hotels & pubs) with the majority of your working week spent meeting clients face-to-face. The patch for this role covers Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton and Salisbury.

This is an entry level role, with full training provided across a mix of classroom learning and on-the-job training with the existing sales team.

Once up and running, your primary responsibility within the position will be to drive new business by presenting your portfolio of products to a customer & persuading them to purchase more.

Success in the role could see you move into an Account Management role within 12-24 months, as well as a variety of other potential directions within the business.

What does a successful candidate have?

This is an entry level role, meaning there is no pre-requisite for direct business-to-business sales experience.

An ideal candidate for the position will be a confident individual that feels they'll thrive in a role that places huge onus on face-to-face communication. Not every day will be easy so an element of resilience will help, as well as an ambition to improve yourself & drive your career forward.

University graduates would be considered for the role, as well as candidates that feel they have a transferable working background from previous positions (not exclusive to but such as; car sales, estate agency, customer service).

What is the package?

  • £30k base salary
  • £35k OTE
  • 25 days + bank holidays
  • £5000 per annum car allowance
