Export Sales Manager

Based Swindon with regular international travel to Western Europe & Scandinavia

50k basic + 10-20k OTE + Car / allowance

The role: Identifying and winning new export customers within our core markets, both in Western Europe and Scandinavia, while managing and developing existing export customers. Primarily focusing on National/Multinational operators and OEMs of drink dispense equipment.

Typical Duties:

* Regularly meeting with customers overseas;
* To be the 1st point of contact for customers promoting the best solution and package to meet the customers' needs from the complete company product portfolio;
* To meet and exceed the territory sales targets and business metric targets for activity;
* Study the market to identify new business opportunities, market trends and competitor activity;
* Prepare, generate and negotiate quotations, meeting company pricing guidelines and customers' logistic needs;
* Troubleshooting to help resolve any problems with exports;
* Ensure effective and timely administration;
* Provide accurate rolling sales and product demand forecasts;
* Book own customer meetings and plan effectively to cover all the territory;
* Grow the customer base while developing existing customers;
* Working with internal sales team, and wider company, to ensure shared goals are achieved.

You: The successful candidate will be a high-quality individual who is hungry to succeed and is a natural networker/business developer responsible for the growth and development of business within the designated Region. Day to day the Export Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the creation of new business and existing business demand.

Applicants must have experience in export sales into Western Europe or Scandinavia, ideally within the drinks dispense industries (coffee, vending & water). Technical sales experience would also be beneficial. Fluent German or French would be particularly helpful.

The candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with a 'can do' philosophy to your activity. Be self-starter, who can work autonomously to prioritise, organise, and plan your activity to achieve results.

Education and on the job training qualifications will support any application, must be IT literate (Microsoft packages, CRM & ERP experience) and be able to communicate well in written and verbal form.
