Business Development Manager - Packaging

Location: North West of England

The Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning and developing new business opportunities. The types of companies you will be working with will be a mix of SME and Blue-Chip organisations within food & drink manufacturing, pharmaceutical, ecommerce and retail. Your clients and prospects will be based in North West of England and North Wales so you must be happy to cover this as an overall territory. You will be selling bespoke corrugated packaging solutions, this is very much a solution sell, the sales process is not quick and involves influencing multiple stakeholders and working with design teams too. The area is well established and this is a great role for a high energy, highly credible and highly consultative sales professional.

Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must have:

  • Business to business, face to face selling experience.
  • Ideally you will have sold into a similar route to market - i.e. Food and Beverage manufacturers, Pharmaceutical, E comms companies.
  • You will be new business focused in your approach but used to selling in a consultative/solution led sales mechanic.
  • Bright, personable, engaging candidates tend to do well here!

The Package:

  • Basic: £45,000 - £50,000
  • Bonus / OTE: £12,500 - £15,000 on top
  • Car: Company Car
