Business Development Manager - Remote

The Role of Business Development Manager

The successful Business Development Manager will be expected to manage an existing B2B customer account base, renewing supply contracts for their energy needs. The major aspect of the role will be to partner with your portfolio of customers, helping them to improve their sustainability by introducing renewables such as wind turbines, solar power, biofuels and efficient heating systems to get nearer to the net zero target. Whilst this is a home-based role, covering southern England, it will be working in a close knit vibrant team and as such the company are looking for a strong team player, someone enthusiastic with a real drive to progress their career with this fantastic, forward thinking company.

For the position of Business Development Manager, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

· Sales experience - this could be telesales, internal or external client facing.

· Ideally an interest in renewable and sustainability

· You will have a can-do attitude and a good level of organisation and initiative

· The drive to develop your career and a real willingness to learn

· Professional, well presented and excellent relationship building skills

· Drivers licence

Benefits of this Business Development Manager position:

· £32,000 - £35,000 base salary

· Uncapped commission £16k OTE
