Excellent opportunity to work for multi-million generating market leader, selling an impressive range of clinical diagnostics and laboratory equipment and consumables to the clinical pathology laboratories in Ireland. Territory will be flexible for the right person, and you can be based anywhere in Ireland. You will join an existing sales team of experienced individuals who all come from a strong scientific background and wanted to break into a sales role.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a genuine market leader in their sector and has a turnover in the multi-millions and has built a strong team in Ireland, and boasts extreme employee satisfaction and low staff turnover. They represent a diverse portfolio of accounts spanning multiple scientific sectors. Due to impressive growth last year, they are looking to expand their Irish sales team and need an additional sales person to join the clinical diagnostics team.
THE ROLE: As the successful Sales Executive you will be responsible for selling an impressive range of clinical diagnostics and laboratory equipment to clinical laboratories, R+D facilities, and Universities in Ireland. You will be selling to a range of decision makers, including laboratory managers, lab technicians, Head of R+D, Procurement, etc. You will focus on labs that specialize in histopathology, cellular pathology, immunology, etc. This role will be account management focused, however, you will also be responsible for driving new business opportunities in your designated territory. An impressive training scheme and progression opportunities are on offer for the right candidate.
Territory = Anywhere in Ireland and flexible for the right candidate
THE PERSON: For this role, our client is eager to meet with candidates that come from a strong scientific background, ideally related to cellular pathology, physiology, histopathology, immunology, etc. If you have a scientific background with experience working in a lab and looking to break into a sales role, then apply below. If you have previous sales experience that will be an advantage but it is not essential as they provide full sales and product training for their employees. The most successful people on this team came from a science background with lab experience, and learned the sales aspect of this role when they joined our client. Desirable experience includes tissue sample preparation, staining experience, slide preparation, immunoassays, ELISAs, antibodies, etc, in an immunology, histopathology or cellular pathology laboratory.
THE PACKAGE FOR ACCOUNT MANAGER:
· Salary: €40,000 - €50,000
· Bonus: €10,000
· Benefits: Fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop, pension, healthcare, life insurance, 21 days holiday and increasing with years of service
