Market leading High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services company are seeking a Health & Safety Officer.

Our Irish owned client is recognised as a market leading High and Medium Voltage engineering services companies in not only Ireland, but also the UK and Europe, delivering outstanding solutions to their clients. Our client offers high and medium voltage electrical design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance services. Our client has delivered their outstanding services to many well-known companies for over 15 years gaining experience in grid transmission and distribution systems, and Data Centres. With a healthy pipeline of projects, this multi-million company need a Health & Safety Officer to help them continue to thrive.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will travel to sites across Ireland with the following responsibilities:
- Work on sites during the installation stage of High and Medium voltage power distribution or generation works.
- Prepare risk assessments and method statements for works onsite.
- Establish an active health and safety monitoring system, incorporating regular audits and inspections.
- Collaborate across various project disciplines.
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds:
- Must have a couple years of experience in a Health & Safety position.
- Ideally have Health & Safety experience in the construction or civil industry.
- Any familiarity with ISO 45001 and 14001 is a plus.
