Our client, a well established specialist provider of automatic access systems are currently seeking a Service Engineer for their growing team in Belfast / Greater Belfast area due to their continued success.

With a long-standing history and strong reputation, this worldwide specialist provider of car parking systems are seeking a service engineer to join their team. Having operations in Ireland, as part of the Northern European team, this company provide their solutions to a variety of clientele, priding themselves on excellent customer service and retention. With a multi-million turnover, and a large worldwide engineering team, the growth of their business is allowing them to grow and take on more talented service engineers.

Role:

Covering the greater Belfast / Greater Belfast area, the successful candidate will be responsible for working on access control systems specifically car parking systems and ticketing systems

• Maintenance and repair of access control systems, specifically car parking systems, ticketing systems, ANPR cameras, intercom systems and electronic payment devices.
• Conducting scheduled PPM on customer systems.
• Troubleshooting, fault finding, repair work and installations as part of the service team.
• Installing windows and software updates to pc's.
• The role will involve mechanical, electrical and electronic, IT and networking elements.

Person:

We are looking to speak to candidates who have had exposure to either electronics, Field servicing, IT & computers, networking

• Prior exposure to door and gate automation, or car parking systems would be ideal.
• Other electrical service experience will be considered - security, payment systems, lifts, vending systems, computing.
• Experience in a field- service role previously is very advantageous but not essential, as training will be given, both online and in our HQ in Europe.
• Also open to networking engineers or someone with CCTV experience.
• Valid driving license
• Commitment to continued product and process learning
• Ability to deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• This would be an ideal role for a recent graduate looking to start their journey within the customer service industry
