About the Company:
We're partnered with a global market leader in the providing of Uninterrupted Power Supplies & Batteries to numerous markets, including IT Data Centres, Defense, Medical Equipment & Telecoms. They're on the hunt for a UPS Field Service Engineer to assist their Southern UK's team in the servicing of their products.
Role Overview: UPS Field Service Engineer - Southern Based
Joining their dynamic team based in South of the UK, my client is looking for a highly skilled UPS Field Service Engineer to provide the installation & maintenance of their UPS & backup battery products. The ideal candidate will be a proven service engineer with experience in electrical maintenance and keen to be a team player.
This is a Monday to Friday position with
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the fault finding, installation and maintenance of our clients' UPS products
· Responsible for installation and maintenance of batteries as a UPS backup power supply
· Responsible for using remote monitoring software to setup and configure UPS products
· Responsible for travel across the south of UK and occasionally Ireland
Requirements:
· Must have experience commissioning and installing electrical products
· Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
· Must have a solid understanding of UPS systems
· A good understanding of switch panel and power distribution
· Nice to have knowledge of programming of PLC control systems
Package:
· £37,000-£42,000 p/a
· Lucrative overtime and on-call pay
