Trade Counter Sales - Builders Merchant
Location: Galway - Oranmore
Salary: €30,000 - €35,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus 1 Saturday morning every 3-4 weeks
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading builders merchant in Galway, seeking a motivated Trade Counter Salesperson to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in construction, sales, or retail to build a career in a thriving industry.
About the Role:
As a Trade Counter Salesperson, you will:
- Serve and assist customers at the trade counter, providing excellent product advice and service.
- Develop strong relationships with trade and retail customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Manage orders, stock inquiries, and quotations in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the wider team to maximise sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a well-organized trade counter and showroom, ensuring stock is well presented.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in the construction, builders merchant, trade sales, or retail sector.
- A strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and 1 Saturday morning every 3-4 weeks.
