Territory Sales Manager

The Role: The Territory Manager role will cover the Northern England area due to an internal promotion. As a Territory Manager you will be selling a range of chemicals and equipment used in MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) world within various applications across engineering, industrial, and construction environments. You will be part of a direct sales team selling to these end users and pulling the sales through a strong distribution network made up of around 70 spending accounts. This is an account management focussed role and you will concentrate on the top 15 distributors and build a business strategy to target end users in various verticals to get them spending through that channel. Your role will be to rekindle old relationships, grow existing ones, and ensure the customer base are fully up to date with new products. This is a fast paced position and our client are looking for industrial sales professionals to drive the business in a new direction.

The Company: Our client are a global group who have operations across Europe & the US. They have manufacturing bases in the UK and mainland Europe which enables them to shorten their supply chains and keep their customer base stocked up whenever they need it. They have a strong UK sales team and have a track record of looking after their staff. They have recently restructured their business to align with the way of working in the modern world and are therefore looking for dynamic individuals who are open to field based sales with major elements of virtual selling.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have experience in selling to end users and pulling sales through a channel/distribution network
  • Have a field sales background in the industrial/engineering sectors
  • Are based across the M62 corridor
  • Demonstrable track record in managing and growing accounts
  • Someone who is prepared to go the extra mile
  • Clean driving licence

Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic Salary DOE + 10% annual bonus (with additional stretch target bonus up to 24%) + company car (hybrid) + phone/laptop + pension + healthcare scheme + death in service x3 of salary + 21 days holiday (plus stats)
