Territory Manager

THE COMPANY

As a market leader in the medical and scientific sector in Ireland, our client is a well-established supplier of equipment, consumables, and medical devices to the secondary care market. They also offer a diverse portfolio of products to the life science sector, representing some of the global market leading manufacturers. It is an exciting time for this organization as they continue to grow and scale the business, and due to this expansion, they now require 2 additional Territory Managers to join the field sales team.

THE ROLE

There are 2 Territory Manager positions to be filled, focusing on different divisions within the business.

Territory Manager - Life Science division

The first role involves selling the company's full range of lab equipment and consumables to laboratories, focusing on Universities and Research & Development facilities. You will sell to lab managers, lab technicians, researchers, buyers, and procurement. This is both an account management and new business-focused role, so you must be comfortable maintaining existing business whilst also driving revenue in your designated area. The territory for this role is North Leinster and Northern Ireland, with at least 50% of your time being spent in the Dublin/Greater Dublin region.

Territory Manager - Medical division

The second role will focus on selling medical consumables such as surgical packs, dressings, woundcare, PPE, disposable/single-use consumables, etc, to the secondary care market. You will sell to Public and Private hospitals in your area, and liaise with nursing managers, consultants, surgeons, procurement, etc. You will cover North Leinster and Northern Ireland. You will inherit a strong base of existing accounts but will also be tasked with driving growth in your area.

THE PERSON

We are looking to speak to people who to progress their sales career within the medical sector. If you are a recent graduate, with a degree in a Science-related discipline, or a qualified nurse, then this could be a great way for you to break into medical sales. Experience selling to the secondary care market, or selling to laboratories, is a distinct advantage but is not essential.

You will be driven, ambitious, organized, and well-presented, with a keen interest in medical sales. Full driving license is essential.

PACKAGE

- Salary: €35,000 - €50,000 (DOE)

- Bonus: €10,000+

LOCATION

Ideally, candidates will be based in North of Leinster or in Northern Ireland - Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Louth, Cavan, Midlands, Belfast, etc.
