Technical Sales Representative

THE COMPANY: Our client is an internationally renowned Irish business within the medical sector, supplying specialist equipment and consumables to hospitals, laboratories and manufacturing facilities. They are in a period of exponential growth and looking to add to their busy sales team, offering a positive working environment, great company culture, and lucrative basic, OTE and benefits. They are now looking to hire a Product Specialist to sell a range of laboratory products and solutions. Territory is flexible for the right person.

THE ROLE: As the successful Account Manager your goal is to look for sales opportunities within the manufacturing sector, anywhere with a laboratory (hospitals, R+D facilities, Universities, Pharma Manufacturers, etc). You will be selling scientific products (equipment and consumables) to companies. You will be speaking to lab technicians, lab managers, design and maintenance engineers, senior managers, MDs/CEOs, and procurement.

This is a field sales role, territory will be flexible but will be in the Republic of Ireland

FOR THIS TECHNICAL SALES POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Graduate / second career move
  • Engineering or Scientific qualification is essential
  • Some B2B sales experience is highly desirable
  • Technical ability
  • Commercial acumen
  • Polished, well-presented

BENEFITS OF THIS SALES ENGINEER ROLE:

  • Base salary: €40,000 - €50,000 DOE
  • Bonus scheme: €15,000 - €20,00 P/A
