TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

Our client is a long-established global organisation specialising in HVAC systems, air handling units, fans, heat recovery systems, and advanced ventilation technologies. Supplying solutions to commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and data-centre customers, they are recognised for quality engineering, technical expertise, and reliable customer support. Due to continued growth in Ireland, they are expanding their technical department.
THE ROLE:
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and remote/phone support for HVAC and air-handling equipment.
- Supporting commissioning teams and service engineers with diagnostics and system configuration.
- Reviewing technical documentation, drawings, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.
- Working closely with customers, contractors, and consultants to resolve system issues.
- Preparing technical reports, processing support tickets, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Collaborating with internal engineering teams on product improvements and system updates.
- Supporting AHU selections, HVAC product queries, and equipment performance checks.
This role is office-based with occasional site visits as required.
THE PERSON:
Our client is seeking candidates who:
- Have a background in HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
- Have a trade background or engineering degree
- Understand ventilation systems, AHUs, fans, controls, or related technologies.
- Are strong problem-solvers and enjoy technical troubleshooting.
- Are comfortable reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Have excellent communication skills and enjoy helping customers resolve issues.
- Experience with BMS controls or air handling controls is highly beneficial.
THE PACKAGE:
- Salary: €50,000 - €60,000
- Pension: 5%
