Strategic Account Manager

The Role: BMS are recruiting for two new Strategic Account Manager for a market leading organisation in the lift & escalator industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for upselling service and maintenance contracts across a defined geographical territory within the UK depending on where you live (patch & account base will be tailored to your location). Selling directly to end users, you also prospect new business, targeting any larger business with an existing lift or escalator across multiple sites. Contacting facilities or building management companies, you will deal with property managers, estate agents, procurement and business owners. This role is split between 50% account management with 50% from new business (both within those accounts and new clients). To be considered for this role you must have strong commercial awareness, you could have sold a product or service, but this must have been business to business and to larger organisations with complex decision making structures.

For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have B2B field sales Account Management experience
  • Account management & new business background, strong relationship builder
  • Deal with decision makers at all levels
  • Dealt with multi-site end user accounts
  • A track record of results visibly clear on CV
  • Driving License

Package: Up to £45,000 basic plus £15k-20k uncapped OTE, 25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, company car OR car allowance
