Specification Sales Manager

The role: The new Specification Sales Manager position covers Scotland and the Northeast of England. You will be selling a range of commercial quality, fabric-backed vinyl wall coverings into a number of big-name hotels (80% of business) and leisure groups for new builds or refurbishment projects. Day to day you will be building, and maintaining, relationships with interior designers and buyers to ensure you are on top of projects that are coming up, and ongoing.

The Specification Sales Manager will be supported from the UK based manufacturing facility in Wales where you will have access to Product Managers, Internal Sales, and Marketing specialists to support your sales processes. Not only will you be getting your products specified in at the front-end, you will also be breaking specifications on existing projects where the opportunity presents itself. This is a high-activity, relationship building specification role which is very well suited to someone who has an eye for detail and a passion for interior design.

With commitment to individual development, our client has a full internal training plan, including introduction to different sectors within the business to obtain rounded knowledge of the company; and 1:1 induction with the Sales and Marketing Director.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

· Interior design background and/or interior product sales background

· Confident and self-motivated

· Have an exposure & appreciation for specification sales processes

· Target driven and eager to initiate a successful sales career within this industry

· Live in Scotland or the Northeast of England

· Full & clean driving licence

Salary: £35k-£45k basic salary DOE + Bonus + 25 days holiday + pension + company car allowance (£6k p/a)
