The Company
A specialist distributor and service provider of professional grounds maintenance, irrigation and utility machinery. The business supports customers across golf, sports, parks, landscaping and commercial grounds sectors with high-quality equipment, parts and technical aftercare.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support and field service to customer sites throughout Ireland. You will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of professional outdoor machinery and equipment. This role combines hands-on mechanical and electrical work with strong customer engagement and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on grounds maintenance and irrigation machinery.
- Commission new equipment and perform field diagnostics to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports and test documentation.
- Attend client sites across the region, delivering service to high standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Person
This role will really suit a candidate looking to move away from servicing heavy and dirty machinery and focus more on lighted, cleaner equipment.
- Ideally you will be an experienced construction plant fitter, HGV Mechanic, or come from a similar motor mechanic background
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working independently and travelling to client sites.
- Full, clean driving licence.
The Package:
- €40k - €45k base salary DOE
- Van and fuel card
- Pension
- 25 days leave
