About the Role
As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across a portfolio of events. You'll work closely with stakeholders, manage junior support staff, and take ownership of campaign performance and budget allocation. The role is ideal for an ambitious marketer ready to step up into a more autonomous, commercially focused position.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across multiple events with support from Marketing Assistants.
Manage data research and segmentation to target high-value audiences.
Analyse campaign performance to inform strategy and identify key levers.
Write engaging copy and implement effective email and affiliate marketing strategies.
Oversee and execute social media campaigns in line with event goals.
Allocate and manage event-level marketing budgets with support from your manager.
Participate in weekly project meetings and delegate tasks to junior team members.
Build engagement through speakers, sponsors, media partners, and associations.
About the Person
You're an ambitious, data-driven marketer with a passion for campaign performance and commercial results. You enjoy working independently, mentoring junior staff, and using marketing to drive audience growth and business impact.
Skills and Experience:
1+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within events (conferences or exhibitions).
Proven ability to manage full campaign lifecycles with autonomy.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Excellent writing skills with a grasp of persuasive marketing copy.
Comfortable analysing campaign metrics to improve performance.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, or paid ad platforms (desired but not essential).
A collaborative attitude and alignment with company values of fairness, transparency, and growth.
