Our client is a market leading provider of events and information within the governance, risk and compliance space. As they have recently been acquired by a multi-national origination, as such are looking to grow their sales team. Their products cover all aspects of organisational non-financial risk, adding value in a world where globalisation brings with a vast array of risks and challenges.

Senior Business Development Manager

Sector: Events

Location: London - Aldgate

· Basic: £40,000 - £47,000

· OTE of £30,000 uncapped

· 4 Days pw in the Aldgate office

As a Senior Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in achieving ambitious growth targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Selling sponsorship packages and information, including surveys.

· Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPI's new business development, as well as managing a small book of existing clients

· New business development via self generation, as well as managing a small book of existing clients

· Educating potential clients on events as well risk management solutions on offer

· Working collaboratively across internal team to promote client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

· At least 2/3 years of B2B sales experience

· Proven track record in a new business sales role, within a fast-paced environment

· Experience in financial services or media would be advantageous, but not required.

· Interest in the finance industry and willingness to learn quickly.

· Highly motivated by targets and the challenge of new business.

· Problem solving and solution focussed mindset.
