Opportunity to break into scientific sales and work for a market leader in liquid handling and lab consumables! You must have a life sciences degree and full driving licence, based in Central or South London.


Field based role, face to face 3+ days per week, covering South London, Surrey, Sussex & Kent.

THE COMPANY: An independent, privately owned manufacturer specialising in the field of liquid handling technology and laboratory products - including scientific consumables, equipment and pipettes used within labs - serving universities, bio-tech and pharmaceutical organisations. Promoting reusable, refillable and recyclable products within their greener portfolio.

They are currently seeking to recruit a motivated, hungry and credible sales professional with scientific experience to manage and grow their well-established sales territory. They have a great culture, offer full training and have a track record of developing their employees!

THE ROLE:
As Account Manager the successful candidate will be managing key relationships with scientific customers. The key decicison makers you will sell to and liaise with include lab managers, technicians and researchers. This is an account management position with an element of new business, you will be tasked with maintaining and growing revenue within this customer base.

The majority of your time will be spent managing accounts within the Academia space, otherwise working with Bio-tech companies, Commercial Labs and Pharmaceutical businesses. 70 - 80% of your working week will be spent out customer facing, typically 2 home based days. Primarily this is a field based sales role.

What experience do you need to be suitable?

  • Must have a life sciences degree
  • Ideally previous field sales experience or customer facing experience
  • Confident presenting, driven by targets and hitting KPIs
  • Full driving licence

The Package for the Account Manager:

  • Basic: £25,000 - 35,000 - depending on experience
  • Bonus: £5,000 uncapped
  • Car: Fully expensed company Audi A3
