Role and Company:
As a Sales Training Manager, you will be responsible for the coaching and development of the sales team in a Media / Publisher environment.
You will be responsible for creating induction plans, courses and regular meetings with the sales team on their training & development throughout their day-to-day tasks.
This role is open to someone with experience recruiting and training sales professionals or even as a Team Lead. If you have existing Media knowledge, it's a bonus but not essential. If you do not have Media knowledge, please still apply if you have experience managing / coaching a sales team.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing training programme and update as necessary.
- Conduct effective and engaging induction courses.
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development through a wide variety of sales training methods.
- Introduce personal development plans that address needs and expectations.
- Conduct regular training appraisals to assess and challenge staff to progress.
- Monitor and evaluate recruitment and training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.
- Report to the Sales Manager and Directors on a regular basis regarding strategy, objectives and progress.
- Maintain a keen understanding of latest training trends, developments and best practices.
Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Proven background in a sales role including coaching / mentoring / team lead position.
- Desirable if you have experience in Media or similar sector.
- Desirable if you have experience recruiting / training sales professionals.
- Desirable if you have just a training background with elements of training HR, Sales and other teams within a business.
Salary & Benefits Package
- up to £45,000 per annum and £20k OTE.
- Free parking on-site in Solihull (required in the office 5xdays a week with some flexibility WFH as & when).
