Salary: £50-55k basic + OTE £20-25k in Year 1 (uncapped)

The Role: This is a player manager role, ideal for an established new business salesperson who has already taken their first step into team leadership but now looking to develop their management skillset further. The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for:

· Selling (50%) - Selling sponsored content and branded media opportunities across a range of digital products in the legal sector

· Managing (50%) - Managing a team of 3 junior salespeople - responsible for day-to-day leadership, coaching and mentoring, setting KPIs and reporting to the Sales Director.

· Building client relationships with lawyers, both in house and private practice, and government councils

Following substantial growth of the sales team in the past 12 months, our client is now looking to hire a sales leader to take on the day-to-day managerial responsibilities of a young team of BDEs, whilst also working towards individual sales targets by generating revenue off the back of targeted new business development efforts.

The sales team oversee both the acquisition of new logos and the growth/renewal of existing client relationships. The ideal sales manager will have a successful background in both areas, with the commercial skillset and natural leadership qualities which will enable them to share knowledge and upskill their team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel internationally several times a year to attend events and network with their team's international client base.

Requirements: For this Sales Team Lead role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience within a corporate environment- exposure to both new business sales and account management is ideal
  • 1+ year of sales management or team leadership experience
  • Experience working in a media, content or events environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of the legal sector is desirable but not necessary
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.
