Remote Internal Sales Manager

The Role: As a remote Internal Sales Manager you will be home based and only needed in their Greater Manchester office a couple of times per month for team meetings. Your primary function will be technical sales into the Marine & Offshore industries. The Internal Sales Manager will be selling a bespoke sealing system which protects cables & pipes from gas, fire, and water in a variety of applications. Your target market will be the Marine & Offshore market which will include Oil & Gas, Naval, and Ship Building applications across the UK. This will be in conjunction with an external sales team where you will be able to provide leads, new business, and uncover new opportunities within projects already being worked on.

The second part of the role will see you developing client specifications, tenders, quotations, and attending trade shows and exhibitions were required. These tasks will add to your personal development and lead to your opportunity to get into the field much more quickly. This is an engineering focussed role selling a solution to end users, contractors, and EPC's therefore some track record in internal sales will be required in this role within a construction, industrial or engineering field.

The Company: Our client are a UK subsidiary of a fast-growing European manufacturer within the cable protection & insulation market. They have bolstered their position throughout the pandemic and are experiencing a global recruitment drive to capitalise on their recent success. The UK business has grown by nearly 100% in the last four years and continues on that trajectory across multiple industrial market sectors. They are now in a position to offer new opportunities within their business as a result of internal promotions.

We are looking for sales candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Have some internal B2B sales experience and is able to work from home
  • Sold a technical solution within construction, industrial, or mechanical sectors
  • Understands the Marine &/or Offshore Oil & Gas market would be very desirable
  • Has a track record in outbound telephone & video based sales
  • A good understanding of the entire sales process
  • Full UK driving licence as there will be travel
  • Excellent communication skills

Base Salary:
£30,000 - 35,000 DOE
Bonus: 20%-30% bonuses
