Regional Sales Manager

The Role of Regional Sales Manager - Capital Equipment: As Regional Sales Manager working for this innovative manufacturer, you will be responsible for managing a field-based sales team of 6 across the southern half of the UK selling a range of manufacturing production line capital equipment and service contracts. The broad customer base includes food, beverage, automotive and pharmaceutical manufacturers at multiple levels. Although the team is currently performing well, the key focus of the role is to continue the team's development by offering a high level of coaching, improving their skills leading to tangible results. This role is for a sales leader that gains enjoyment from supporting, coaching and developing their team to achieve greater performance, job satisfaction and enhance their career opportunities.

Customer support is industry leading, with an extensive team of highly skilled Project Engineers and Service Engineers. For the Position of Regional Sales Manager - Capital Equipment, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have managed a team of field-based salespeople and has a real passion for coaching and learning & development
  • Exceptional sales training and coaching skills and experience with a proven record of achieving tangible results of team performance improvement
  • Must have at some point sold to manufacturing, comfortable on the factory floor
  • Structured, organised, process driven approach to sales
  • Able to spend some nights away from home
  • Driving licence

Benefits of this Regional Sales Manager - Capital Equipment role:

· £60,000 to £75,000 basic salary DoE

· OTE £35,000 commission & bonus, uncapped
