The Role of Area Sales Engineer: As Area Sales Engineer working for this innovative manufacturer, you will be responsible for selling a range of high-quality measurement sensors with an outstanding reputation for an excellent price-to-performance ratio. Your broad customer base will include OEM machine and panel builders, manufacturers of metals, rubber, and plastics, and system integrators. The focus of your time will be identifying and developing opportunities for sales growth across the Republic of Ireland, by gaining a clear understanding of clients' needs and conducting product testing and trials to ensure the design is right the first time.

For the Position of Area Sales Engineer, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Field-based experience, either in sales or applications engineering within the factory / industrial automation marketplace
- A degree in an engineering or scientific field is essential
- Exceptional customer development skills
- Consultative and transparent approach to dealing with customers
- Able to network and build relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels
- A true team player who enjoys a collaborative work environment
- Must be resilient, well presented, dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
- Driving license
Benefits of this Area Sales Engineer - Industrial Sensors & Automation role:
€60,000 to €80,000 basic salary DOE
OTE €10,000+ commission, paid quarterly
Company car,
25 days' holiday, (plus Bank Holidays)
Location: Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Galway, Cork, Midlands
