This is a field-based management role covering Portlaoise, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Wexford and Tipperary you will be responsible for maximizing sales and productivity through the effective management of a field-based, part time merchandising team.
Key Duties: Implementing directives on all aspects of customer service, compliance, store standards and product installation for the effective sell through of products.
This will involve ongoing implementation of store call coverage, both on a weekly basis and during display changeover & seasonal periods.
You will be required to closely monitor the performance of your territory against KPIs, including merchandiser call compliance, on shelf availability & sales performance.
People management is at the heart of this role, and you must demonstrate you can effectively manage & motivate a remote-based team. You will also be involved in the successful selection, recruitment, and training of all Part Time Merchandisers for your territory.
The ideal candidate: Ideally, you will have managed a team of merchandisers or van sales previously, You will have a proven track record with the FMCG or a similar industry,
You will need to be an excellent communicator as the role will involve verbal & electronic communication with internal teams and customer colleagues in stores. A flexible & highly organised approach, with the ability to easily adapt to changing situations in a challenging and fast paced environment is essential.
You should be proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly; Excel, Word, Teams & One Drive with a keenness to learn and adapt to new technology on an ongoing basis. A laptop, tablet and mobile phone are provided.
