A leading company in the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from £5,000 to £2,000,000, and provides essential support in contract administration, cost forecasting, and project management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Administration: Oversee and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Post-Contract Support: Provide continuous administration and support during the project lifecycle.
  • Cost Forecasting & Project Reviews: Monitor costs, track project progress, and provide forecasts to maintain project budgets.
  • Customer & Subcontractor Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clients and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Project Management Support: Assist project managers with the management of multiple projects at varying stages.
  • Sales Support & Negotiations: Support the sales team with contract negotiations and cost estimation for potential projects.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a quantity surveying or similar role, with a strong focus on post-contract administration.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is required for site visits.
  • Qualifications: RICS qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) or MEP projects is preferred.
  • Team Player: A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.


Package:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
  • Bonus: Up to 15% of salary
  • Working Arrangement: Hybrid working available
