Controls Manager:

Company Description: Our client is a leading provider of automation solutions for various industries. With a focus on innovation and efficiency, they design and implement cutting-edge automation systems to optimize processes and improve productivity for their customers. Currently, they are seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Manager to join their dynamic team.


  • Lead and manage a team of controls engineers responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure alignment of automation projects with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement control strategies to optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the programming and configuration of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other automation components.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements throughout the automation lifecycle.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation processes and capabilities.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in automation controls to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation, Robotics or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automation industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.), HMI development, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
  • Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
