Louth | €50,000 - €60,000 + Bonus + Pension

Our client, a leading precision engineering manufacturer operating in highly regulated sectors such as medical devices and aerospace, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team in Louth.

This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work on high-value, technically challenging projects across production, operations, and facility improvements.


The Role

As Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of key projects across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Projects will include:

  • Manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives
  • Facilities and infrastructure upgrades
  • Customer-driven engineering projects
  • Continuous improvement and process optimisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of engineering and operational projects
  • Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Monitor progress, track milestones, and ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Support risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to process improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Assist with project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (precision or regulated preferred)
  • Experience supporting or delivering technical projects
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience with Lean tools or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
