The Role of Product Manager

Managing a £30m+ portfolio end to end, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, driving growth and direction for a maternity cover 12-month contract.

  • Driving strategy for portfolio growth.
  • Management of existing portfolio - roadmap
  • Identifying market opportunities,
  • Market requirement documents (MRDs) to feed the CBI/NPD process
  • Tracking and controlling sales revenue and profitability performance of product categories
  • Support marketing team /Sales enablement -customer insights, data sheets,
  • Price modeling /positioning
  • Voice of customer/market research

For the Product Manager Position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in Product Management, managing end to end portfolios including pricing, identifying new business opportunities, and understanding technical issues.

  • lubricants / Industrial chemicals or similar products
  • B2B Product Management, Research and Development Chemist, Technical sales (chemicals/lubricants), Lubricant blending technician, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Product pricing
  • Ownership of full Product Roadmap
  • Working collaboratively with Sales, operations, and technical
  • Happy to commuter to office (Leeds) Hybrid role 1 /2 days - with some international travel.
  • Able to fulfill a 12-month contract

Remuneration & Benefits for Product Manager:

  • Salary: £40 to £50,000
  • Bonus 15%
  • Pension 11%
  • Hybrid 1/ 2 days in the office -
  • 35-hour working week
