Location: Cork | Full-Time | 1-Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: €60,000 + Pension + 25 Days Annual Leave
The Company
Our client is a growing international engineering and manufacturing business operating in a highly technical, regulated environment. The Cork site plays a key role in supporting global operations and ongoing supply chain initiatives.
The Role
As Procurement Manager, you will lead the local procurement function and manage a team of three, delivering procurement and supply chain strategy while ensuring continuity of supply. You will:
- Lead, develop, and support a team of procurement professionals
- Own procurement and inventory strategy aligned to business goals
- Act as ERP / MRP system lead for the materials function
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and commercial performance
- Forecast demand, control inventory, and reduce supply chain risk
- Track KPIs and report performance to senior management
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
The Person
This role suits experienced procurement or supply chain professionals with leadership experience, though strong operational backgrounds are also welcome. You will ideally have:
- Procurement or supply chain experience within manufacturing or engineering
- People management or team leadership experience
- Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with ERP / MRP systems
- A practical, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
The Package
- €60,000 basic salary
