New Business Development Manager

The Role: BMS are recruiting for a New Business Development Manager within the Service & Contracts department for a market leading organisation in the lift & escalator industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for new business acquisition & upselling service and maintenance contracts across the Scotland region. Selling directly to end users, you will prospect new business targeting any business with an existing lift or escalator such as: retailers, commercial buildings, education, healthcare etc. Contacting facilities or building management companies, you will deal with property managers, estate agents, procurement and business owners. This role is a growth position for our global client to really grow the Scottish market, as such there are aggressive new business targets in place which give a great earning opportunity to come off the back of continued success. To be considered for this role you must have strong new business drive, commercial awareness, and ideally you have sold a service or contractual type solution, but this must have been business to business.

For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

· Must have B2B field sales experience in a new business capacity

· New business development background, high activity levels & work ethic

· Deal with decision makers at all levels

· A track record of results visibly clear on CV

· Driving License

Package: £38,000-£42,000 basic DOE plus realistic £10k uncapped OTE year 1, 25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, company car scheme OR car allowance
