About the Role: Mechanical Service Engineer
Joining their nationwide team (office is based in the south-west near Bristol), you'll take on the role of a Mechanical Service Engineer. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and inspection of large liquified petroleum gas vessels.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the installations, inspections and maintenance of large liquified petroleum gas vessels.
· Responsible for the technical installation, inspection and maintenance of above and underground distribution pipework.
· The above requires methods of jointing, installing & connecting all types of Liquified Petroleum Gas Pipework and Equipment.
· Responsible for the routine maintenance work at our clients' storage depots, alongside the maintenance & inspection on industrial customer plants.
· Responsible for the carryout of on-site installations of pipework, pumps, vaporisers, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites.
Requirements:
· Must be gas safe registered - ACOX qualified.
· Knowledge of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) in both liquid & vapour phase, safe working & a strong understanding of Isometric plant layout drawings.
· Knowledge of pipework assembly including flanged and screwed joints.
· Happy to work away from home approx. 75% of the time, due to this being a national servicing role.
Desirables:
· Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
· Experience as Mechanical Engineer in gas from industrial/commercial industries.
· LPG/ACS qualification.
· Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
Package:
· Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
