Mechanical Technician/Fitter - Cavan
Ireland's leading garage equipment company is seeking a mechanical technician to join their team in Cavan.

Well established, our client is regarded as Ireland's leading provider of garage services. They are currently seeking to expand their successful team by adding a mechanical technician to their Cavan base.
Our client provides a range of products and services particularly for the Motor, Construction, Agricultural, DIY sectors. They have grown from strength to strength and are showing no signs of slowing down!
Role:
Based in Cavan the successful mechanical technician will be tasked with
- Servicing and repair of machinery, building new machines, providing spare parts
- Service, repair, and maintenance across our client's product portfolio, mainly large mechanical / electrical / agricultural machinery
- Carry out preventative maintenance schedule regularly.
- Carry out troubleshooting and appropriate corrective action and ensuring that downtime is reduced.
Person:
For this role, we are looking to speak to candidates from a mechanical background such as mechanical fitter, automotive mechanic, mechanical automation maintenance fitter (MAMF), etc. but a formal trade qualification is not essential.
- Strong mechanical competence with electrical/electronic acumen is required.
- Experience within the production line industry is desirable not essential.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience is highly advantageous.
- Full driver's license is required.
Package:
- Salary: €35-45k DOE
- Overtime
