Role responsibilities
Plan, implement, and monitor integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive high-quality visitor attendance and maximize exhibitor ROI.
Act as the brand champion for a market-leading UK trade exhibition, ensuring smooth campaign execution across email, website, social media, PPC, partnerships, and content.
Manage and track the agreed marketing spend for the brand, ensuring all activity is delivered within budget and on schedule.
Partner closely with a digital agency to optimize paid search, display, and paid social campaigns for enhanced lead generation.
Manage, support, and mentor junior marketing team members to build their skills, confidence, and campaign delivery capabilities.
Oversee website tracking, content optimization, and user journeys to improve data analytics, reporting accuracy, and visitor conversion.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales, data, operations, and content teams, alongside external industry stakeholders, to achieve strategic event growth.
Work with the data team to enhance database health, targeting new data builds and executing strategic database warm-up campaigns.
Candidate background
Proven B2B exhibition or trade show marketing experience is essential, with a track record of managing a full campaign from concept to completion.
Strong marketing experience working across multifaceted campaigns covering the full marketing mix.
Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to interpret campaign data and metrics to deliver actionable optimization recommendations.
Strong copywriting skills, a keen eye for detail, and comprehensive knowledge of digital platforms and systems (email builders, CMS, measurement tools).
Confident communicator comfortable working cross-functionally and managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organized team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
