IT SUPPORT ENGINEER

Our client collaborates closely with healthcare institutions, clinics, and practitioners to offer a diverse portfolio of medical devices, equipment, and systems designed to elevate the standard of patient diagnosis, treatment, and overall well-being. An exciting opportunity has emerged for an IT Support Engineer. This opportunity arises from our client expanding business operations.
The Kerry based IT Support Engineer will possess the skills and experience required to effectively handle day-to-day technical challenges and tasks related to the management, installation, training, maintenance, repair, and calibration of Our Client's comprehensive range of medical equipment.
THE ROLE:
The successful IT Engineer will spend 2 days in the office in Kerry and the other 3 days working from home, the main duties of the role will include:
- Install, repair and configure IT issues remotely.
- The issues will be on a range of medical equipment, including BP monitors, ECG machines, medical devices, machinery etc.
- Supporting customers via phone.
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak to a wide range of Kerry based IT Engineers with varying backgrounds and experience levels:
- Must hold at least a Level 7 degree in either IT or computer science.
- Must have at least 6 months professional experience in a similar role post-graduation.
- Must have be comfortable on the phone and have provided technical support in a similar position before.
