Internal Account Manager

Role: As the Internal Account Manager, you will be working with 3 other team members, mainly working with existing customers. You will provide a high level of customer service, using company knowledge, initiative, and a logical attitude. The Internal Account Manager will be comfortable speaking with decision makers at all levels while looking for opportunities to increase revenue. During quieter times, there will be an expectation to seek new business, through working your way through a list of accounts to target, googling and cold calling. This will make up approximately 5-10% of your work time. There will be ongoing training and support for the Internal Account Manager, adapted to the need of the individual. Performance and bonus is measured as a group collective so a team player is required.
Company: Our client is the most profitable paper merchant in Europe, operating for 40 years, in 21 countries, turning over more than £200 million a year. There are further plans to invest in more companies while also expanding to a larger office in the next 12 months. Products range from paper, PVC sheets, bespoke packaging, bubble wrap, wine boxes etc. This office is one of 15 in the UK. The team is small, mighty and successful, hitting the monthly target together 10/12 times last year.
We are looking for: A a team player with great telephone manner, good work ethic and happy to look for new business customers. Ideally you would have come from a print background but that is not essential.
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + £3,000- 4,000 OTE
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays. Incremental days after 2 years' service, capped up to 5 years.
