HVAC Service Technician

The Company
Our cleint is a globally recognised leader in HVAC and energy‑efficient building solutions, with a strong reputation for innovation, reliability, and sustainable technologies. Their heating and cooling systems are widely used across residential, commercial, and light‑industrial environments.
Due to continued investment and growth, Our client is now seeking an experienced HVAC Field Service Technician to support customers across the Greater Dublin area.
The Role
The successful candidate will work within a defined local service region, covering the Greater Dublin area only. This role is ideally suited to an experienced technician who wants to move away from excessive nationwide travel and into a more structured, methodical, and predictable field service position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing, fault‑finding, and repairing HVAC systems, with a strong focus on heat pump technology
- Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive service visits
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Completing service reports and documentation accurately
- Providing technical support and professional customer interaction on site
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
All work is planned within a local patch, supporting consistent work patterns and better work-life balance.
The Candidate
Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC professional with:
- Proven experience working on heat pump systems
- A valid F-Gas certification (mandatory)
- Background as a field service engineer, HVAC technician, or refrigeration engineer
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
- A structured, detail‑focused approach to service work
- Full driving licence
- Professional, customer‑focused communication skills
Package
