Location: Cork | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: €65,000 - €85,000 DOE
The Company
Our client is a rapidly growing, international engineering and manufacturing business operating in the data centre and mission-critical infrastructure space. The Cork facility is a key technical hub, supporting a global customer base with complex industrial HVAC and cooling solutions.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role, overseeing technical support and technical training across an industrial HVAC and chiller product portfolio. You will:
- Lead technical support and training functions for HVAC and cooling systems
- Manage and develop a team of technical support engineers
- Provide advanced technical support on mission-critical HVAC and chiller equipment
- Lead troubleshooting of complex refrigeration, controls, and communications issues
- Support commissioning, performance verification, and warranty investigations
- Develop technical documentation, training materials, and commissioning support tools
- Deliver structured training programmes (classroom, digital, and factory-based)
- Support field service teams, service managers, and project teams
- Share technical knowledge across EMEA teams and support continuous improvement
The Person
We are keen to hear from technically strong HVAC professionals with leadership potential. This role suits candidates from hands-on or supervisory backgrounds, including:
- Industrial HVAC or chiller installation, service, maintenance, or commissioning
- Service Manager, HVAC Manager, Mechanical Supervisor, or similar leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, controls, and HVAC equipment
- Experience supporting or leading technical teams
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
- Willingness to stay technically hands-on while leading others
The Package
- €65,000-€85,000 salary depending on experience
