Role responsibilities

  • Own and define the end-to-end marketing strategy across a multi-brand portfolio of events and media products.
  • Set strategic direction for audience growth, brand positioning, exhibitor demand, and commercial performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team across multiple levels.
  • Drive visitor acquisition, engagement, and retention through insight-led, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to generate high-quality leads and support exhibitor retention and growth.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with media, associations, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee go-to-market strategy, campaign planning, and portfolio-wide execution.
  • Own portfolio-level KPIs, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Hold full responsibility for marketing budgets, ensuring efficiency and strong ROI.
  • Lead marketing strategy for new launches, acquisitions, and portfolio expansion initiatives.

Candidate background

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within B2B events, exhibitions, media, or related sectors.
  • Strong track record of leading and developing multi-layered marketing teams.
  • Commercially focused, with experience owning KPIs and delivering measurable growth.
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel and digital marketing strategies.
  • Confident senior stakeholder manager, able to influence across sales, content, and leadership teams.
  • Experience operating in fast-growth or PE-backed environments.
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
