Role responsibilities
- Own and define the end-to-end marketing strategy across a multi-brand portfolio of events and media products.
- Set strategic direction for audience growth, brand positioning, exhibitor demand, and commercial performance.
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team across multiple levels.
- Drive visitor acquisition, engagement, and retention through insight-led, multi-channel campaigns.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to generate high-quality leads and support exhibitor retention and growth.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with media, associations, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee go-to-market strategy, campaign planning, and portfolio-wide execution.
- Own portfolio-level KPIs, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Hold full responsibility for marketing budgets, ensuring efficiency and strong ROI.
- Lead marketing strategy for new launches, acquisitions, and portfolio expansion initiatives.
Candidate background
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within B2B events, exhibitions, media, or related sectors.
- Strong track record of leading and developing multi-layered marketing teams.
- Commercially focused, with experience owning KPIs and delivering measurable growth.
- Deep understanding of multi-channel and digital marketing strategies.
- Confident senior stakeholder manager, able to influence across sales, content, and leadership teams.
- Experience operating in fast-growth or PE-backed environments.
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
