Edmundson are looking for a minimum of 6 graduates to join their head office team within their accounting, auditing and systems departments.

As a Graduate Systems Analyst, your role will aim to understand the partnerships between technology and the business. It involves the testing and implementation of current and new technologies within the organisation. This role will involve and impact every employee in the business, giving you contact with anyone from Warehouse Operatives to C Level contacts and everyone in between.

Alongside your full time role you will gain industry recognised training - BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT and Prince2 Qualifications in Project Management.

So what will your key responsibilities be?

  • Systems and Design Analysis - Understanding issues that face the business prior to implementing a new one. This could involved gathering feedback and digging into an issue to get an understanding of the overall impact across the business.
  • Writing user guides on newly implemented systems, policies and procedures.
  • All internal systems used are bespoke to Edmundson so you will ensure the systems are fit for purpose and unique to the individual needs and requirements.
  • Testing systems internally to see where they can be improved and to identify any bugs.
  • You will also get exposure to the team within the Systems and Procedures division who focus on the security of the systems to avoid attacks and breaches.

You will liaise on a daily basis with other departments and trading locations across Edmundson Electrical businesses as a whole and must feel comfortable speaking with a variety of people, querying things that may not appear correct and implementing new procedures as and when needed.

Although you will have specific duties, Edmundson are looking for candidates that are happy to help in any area that is needed, being a team player and chipping in as and when you can! The more you are willing to get involved in things you may be unsure of, the more you will be likely to learn!

And the package for this position?

  • £25,000 base salary rising to £28,000 after 6 month probation
