Global Sales Executive

Company & Role:

You will be joining as the Global Sales Executive to drive growth in around 45 assigned accounts. Services include the consolidation and forwarding of air or ocean freight, customs brokerage, vendor consolidation, cargo insurance, time-definite transportation, order management, warehousing, distribution and customized logistics solutions across a range of verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a new business role working with enterprise clients, bringing together the relevant internal and external stakeholders to provide a seamless and exceptional service
  • From your deep understanding of global logistics, take the time to understand the clients' requirements and with the support of the team, create solutions that meet their needs and add demonstrable value
  • Identify opportunities and prospect your assigned accounts to close new business (60% / 40% split between Contractual / Ad-hoc business).
  • Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork

Requirements:

  • Significant consultative sales track record (circa 10 years) of generating new business in the global Logistics / Supply Chain sector
  • Proven experience of selling to global enterprise clients (>£250M TO) and the ability to navigate long sales cycles with tenacity, professionalism and an eye for detail
  • Initially office based during the induction phase before moving to a field / office (1 day a week) hybrid
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Full UK Driving License

Salary & Benefits Package

  • £70,000-100,000 - depending on experience
  • £5,400 per year car allowance.
