The Role:
As a Field Service Engineer for our client your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of equipment mainly injection moulding machines but will include other process machinery.
- Conducting regular maintenance checks, inspections, and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Performing repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as electrical circuits, mechanical parts, sensors, and actuators.
- Conducting tests and quality checks post-maintenance to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance levels.
- Balancing workload between scheduled maintenance and urgent repair requests while maintaining a high standard of service.
The Person:
Our ideal candidate for this role will be a highly skilled and qualified technician with a strong background in electro-mechanical systems. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- A qualified electrician, MAMF fitter, fitter turner, electrical engineer, or mechatronic engineer with substantial experience in electro-mechanical systems.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and mechanical issues in industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, and other automation components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
- Prior experience servicing/maintaining injection moulding machinery is highly beneficial.
- Adaptability to travel both within the local county and nationwide for service and maintenance assignments.
THE PACKAGE:
- Salary: €55k - €70k DOE
