FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established supplier of technical equipment into healthcare and laboratory environments. This is a field-based role offering strong training, a competitive package, and long-term career development.
THE COMPANY:
Our client is a recognised provider of specialist equipment and technical services to healthcare and clinical environments nationwide. They are known for delivering high-quality installation, calibration, and maintenance services, supporting customers across hospitals, laboratories, and regulated facilities.
THE ROLE:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of technical equipment across customer sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Installation and commissioning of healthcare and laboratory equipment.
Carrying out calibration, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime.
Providing technical support and training to customers when required.
Ensuring all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
THE PERSON:
Our client is seeking candidates who:
Have experience in a field service, technical service, or maintenance role.
Come from an electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical background.
Have strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Are comfortable working independently on customer sites.
Hold a full clean driving licence.
Experience in healthcare or laboratory environments is beneficial but not essential.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary: €35,000 - €43,000
