Exhibition Sales Executive
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Exhibition Sales Executive to join a leading division within a prominent media and events organisation. In this role, you will focus on generating new business by selling exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities at sector-specific trade events. You will work closely with manufacturers, distributors, and professional communities, helping them to connect with key decision-makers, showcase innovation, and grow their market presence.
As an Exhibition Sales Executive, you will:
- Identify and approach potential exhibitors and sponsors to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Pitch exhibition packages and sponsorships, tailoring solutions to client objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and stand placement effectively.
- Maintain and develop existing client relationships to secure repeat bookings.
- Collaborate with marketing and events teams to ensure successful promotion and delivery of events.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Attend events to provide on-the-ground support and strengthen client partnerships.
Requirements:
To succeed as an Exhibition Sales Executive you will need:
- At least 2 years' experience in new business B2B events sales.
- A proactive, motivated, and results-driven approach.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and pursue opportunities.
- Passion for networking, event sales, and client engagement.
The Package:
- £40,000-£50,000 base salary plus 40% OTE.
