A leading environmental solutions provider is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join their growing team.
THE COMPANY:
Our client, established over 30 years ago is the top provider of environmental solutions and services to the water, wastewater, environmental, and industrial sectors. They offer comprehensive services including supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and routine servicing across all MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) disciplines.
Our client continues to set the standard in delivering environmental monitoring and detection solutions for both private and municipal clients. Their Control & Automation division is one of the largest in Ireland, and with a financial turnover in the multi-millions, they are expanding and seek 4 Industrial Electricians to enhance their large team of over 50.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidates will be ideally based in Tipperary or Kerry and will travel to cover areas including Tipperary, Limerick, Cork, and Kerry. As an Industrial Electrician primarily in water or wastewater treatment plants (brown sites), to perform duties that include:
- Working in small teams of 2-3 per site, covering multiple sites, where you'll spend 1-3 weeks at a time on each project.
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of new plant equipment and control panels.
- Working with pumps, instrumentation, generator changeover switching, power meters and CT's, VSDs, and motors.
- Ensuring all systems meet regulatory requirements.
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak to candidates from the following backgrounds:
- Qualified Industrial Electricians with solid hands-on experience in 2nd Fix Industrial or Industrial Maintenance.
- Candidates must have more than just cable-pulling skills-they should ideally have the ability to wire up control panels, pumps, and other complex industrial equipment, though this is desirable rather than mandatory.
- A strong technical background in working on industrial sites, particularly in water treatment or wastewater facilities, is highly desirable.
- Trade certifications or apprenticeships in electrical or MEICA disciplines are essential.
- Should be able to work independently and within small teams, with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to projects.
THE PACKAGE:
- Salary: €50-55k depending on experience.
- Company Vehicle/Van with a Fuel Card.
- 25 Days Holiday per annum.
- Laptop and Phone provided.
- Lunch Allowance of €14 per day.
LOCATION:
Covering the Tipperary, Limerick, Cork, and Kerry areas. Open to applications from candidates across Munster, but ideally based in Tipperary or Kerry.
