The market leaders in the Structural Steel industry are looking to take on a junior and senior Design Technician based in Wexford.
THE COMPANY:
Our client is a family run business that was established nearly 40 years ago with the ambition to be one of the leading steelwork contractors in Ireland and the UK. Our clients automated fabrication plant enables their fabrication process to deliver the highest standard and cost-effective steel fabrication service, and facilitates our client to cater for large scale projects. The design teamwork in partnership with their clients and enable them to offer a complete range of structural steel and engineering solutions to meet customer's exact requirements. Due to their continued growth they are looking to expand and take on a junior and senior Design Technician in Wexford.
THE ROLE:
The successful Wexford based junior and senior Design Technicians will have contrasting roles:
Junior - In the junior position you will use Tekla to create fabrication and approval drawings for production whilst also working off the drawings given by the structural design engineer.
Senior - In the senior position you will work on connection design for steel structural frames, work on designs for projects for building mainly pharma and data centres and communicate and pass designs to detailers and the contracts manager.
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak to a wide range of Wexford based Design Technicians:
Junior - Must have at least 1 year of Structural Design experience.
Senior - Must have at least 3 years of Structural Design experience, with experience in Connection Drawings, and ideally experience in IDEA StatiCa, and AutoCAD Robot but this is not essential.
