Delegates Sales Director

Location: London – a short walk from Paddington station.

· Basic: £50,000 – £55,000

· Bonus: £25,000 OTE!

The Role: A well-established name in the events industry is looking for a dynamic and proactive Delegates Sales Director to lead a brand-new team of two delegate sales business developers. Assisting the team with any questions, the Delegates Sales Director will be responsible for coaching, training, setting KPIs and eventually growing the team.

The Delegate Sales Director will lead by example, contributing to new business delegate acquisition as well as upselling a brand-new meeting scheduling tool which allows event attendees to meet key exhibitors. Working on one of our clients flagship retail event that has been running for over 72 years, the Delegate Sales Director will also assist delegates with the customer journey; ensuring each client signs up to this free service correctly and understands the process. Acting as the main point of contact for any queries, the Delegates Sales Director will retain customers year on year.

Requirements: To be a Delegates Sales Director in this exciting, well-established, and fast-growing company, you must have:

· 5+ years of B2B sales experience

· 2+ years of experience managing sales teams

· Previous experience in a hybrid role of new business and account management

· Previous experience in delegate sales.

· Previous experience in the retail industry is desirable
